This Policy describes the types of information we may collect from you or that you may provide when you visit our website justusstout.com (the "Website") or interact with our email and text-message programs, and our practices for collecting, using, maintaining, protecting, and disclosing that information.
Please read this Policy carefully. By using the Website or opting in to our communications, you agree to the terms of this Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Website or our programs.
1. Information We Collect

- Information from third parties, such as voter file data, matched contact information, and social-media engagement information, to the extent permitted by law.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Communicate with you about the Campaign, including news, events, volunteer opportunities, and fundraising appeals;
- Process contributions and comply with campaign-finance reporting obligations under Tennessee and federal law;
- Respond to your inquiries and requests;
- Operate, maintain, and improve the Website and our programs;
- Protect the security and integrity of the Website, our programs, and our supporters;

3. Text Messaging & Mobile Opt-In
Information collected as part of our text-message program — including your mobile phone number and opt-in consent — is used solely to operate that program as described in our Messaging Terms & Conditions.
We do not sell, rent, share, or otherwise transfer mobile opt-in information or consent to any third party or affiliate for their own marketing or promotional purposes. Mobile opt-in data and consent are never shared with third parties except as required to operate the messaging program (for example, with our SMS service provider acting on our behalf) or as required by law.
4. How We Share Your Information
We may share the information we collect:
- With service providers who perform services on our behalf (such as SMS providers, email platforms, hosting providers, payment processors, compliance vendors, and analytics services), subject to contractual confidentiality and use restrictions;
- With other political committees, campaigns, organizations, or candidates whose views and goals are substantially similar to ours — except that we never share mobile opt-in information, SMS consent, or SMS phone numbers as described in Section 3;
- To comply with legal obligations, court orders, subpoenas, campaign-finance reporting, or law-enforcement requests;
- To enforce our rights, protect the safety of users, or investigate fraud or abuse; and
- With your consent, or at your direction.
We may also disclose aggregated or de-identified information that cannot reasonably be used to identify you.
5. Cookies & Analytics
The Website uses cookies and similar tracking technologies to recognize returning visitors, measure site usage, and improve user experience. You may disable cookies through your browser settings, though some parts of the Website may not function properly if you do.
We may also use third-party analytics services (such as Google Analytics or Meta Pixel) that set their own cookies and collect usage information on our behalf. These providers have their own privacy policies governing their use of information.
6. Children Under 13
The Website and our programs are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If we learn that we have inadvertently collected personal information from a child under 13, we will promptly delete it. If you believe we may have information from a child under 13, please contact us at justusstout@gmail.com.

9. Residents of California and Other States
Certain states, including California, Colorado, Virginia, Connecticut, and Utah, grant their residents additional rights regarding personal information, including rights of access, deletion, correction, and opt-out of certain processing. Note that many state privacy laws provide exemptions for political organizations and nonprofits; to the extent those exemptions apply, your rights may be limited.
